This international FMCG company is looking for a Global Brand Development Director to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the global brand strategy that recruits and engages new consumers and ensuring this commercial strategy is successfully executed globally. You will be responsible for the global marketing budget, agency management and brand performance analysis. Global experience is essential for this role, with a focus on North America, UK, and Europe.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop annual brand plans that maximise ROI and engage consumers.
2. Deliver the global, customer-centric omni-channel marketing strategy to drive the business' international growth ambitions and objectives and oversee its successful execution.
3. Lead breakthrough innovation and innovation pipeline development, including product strategy, creation and testing of new product concepts, overseeing the commercialisation process, and creating market launch plans to guarantee success in the marketplace.
4. Develop localised, insight-led, strategic, and prioritised marketing plans.
5. Accountability for the global media strategy across all channels and regions with a focus on delivering enhanced performance, impact and spend efficiency per campaign.
6. Define the global communications strategy that supports and enhances the brand positioning and drives engagement with the local target audiences.
7. Lead the Brand Identity team to ensure all packaging and communication activities support and enhance the brand image and positioning.
Requirements:
8. 3rd level degree required, ideally in Marketing or Business Administration.
9. 5+ years in a senior global brand marketing role, ideally in a top FMCG company.
10. Experience of developing brand growth strategies and creating marketing communication strategies that target both consumer and HCP audiences.
11. Innovation and new product development experience, from the introduction phase through commercialisation supported by successful consumer adoption and market results.
12. Strong agency management experience with the ability to inspire creative and strategic partners to deliver breakthrough content and brand campaigns.
13. Brand, creative and consumer insight expert: expert at understanding the consumer and unlocking insights for action.
14. Strategic thinking, influencing, presentation and relationship building skills, at all levels.
15. A successful people manager, who inspires, develops and drives a high performing team.
