As we continue to grow, we are looking for a new Designer to work with our driven and enthusiastic team. Our designers are interior and kitchen specialists who use their in-depth product and technical knowledge to create exciting designs for kitchens, to bedrooms and all rooms in between.
Designing a kitchen is like throwing a party; you want to create the mood, get the ingredients right, make sure there is a flow of people and room to prepare space to dine, drink and dance. Our designers think about how it will be used and who will be using it. Whether it’s the dream of a reluctant gourmet or budding chef, or for a hungry family of four, we design to reflect these differing requirements.
What we are looking for in a successful candidate is to provide an outstanding customer experience through excellent design, communication, and coordination of each project. Flexible working 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (alternating weekend on & weekend off) are essential.
Responsibilities include:
1. Arranging in-store consultations and home visits to find out all requirements.
2. Listening to and discussing with customers their full brief and needs to deliver an accurate design.
3. Producing design packages using presentation packs formatted by brand standards.
4. Inspiring, exciting, and supporting our customers from design concepts to installation or delivery.
5. Coordinating and liaising projects with suppliers, contractors, and installation team.
6. Updating and maintaining accurate customer records using several software packages.
7. Managing multiple projects ensuring seamless communication and coordination throughout.
8. Actively contributing to the growth and development of the store.
9. Providing regular updates to the Store Leader regarding customer projects.
10. Supporting colleagues in-store to provide a consistent and exceptional customer journey.
11. Providing keyholder support to the store with opening and closing.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
1. Previous experience in a kitchen/home design role is essential.
2. Experienced in project coordination and administration.
3. Ability to work as part of a retail and design team.
4. Strong presentation and communication skills.
5. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Package & Smartsheet.
6. Fluent in English both spoken and written.
Salary €35-€45k depending on experience.
