Quantity Surveyor Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our client in Carlow, a leading provider of concrete products. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, budget management, and contractual administration related to their concrete projects.
About the Role:
* Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts for various projects.
* Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects remain within financial parameters.
* Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and material cost analysis.
* Prepare and manage contracts, including negotiation of terms and conditions with clients and suppliers.
* Evaluate and manage project variations, providing clear documentation and reporting.
* Liaise with project teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of project milestones.
* Conduct risk assessments, identify potential cost overruns, and implement mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor. They should possess strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and estimating principles, as well as proficiency with industry-standard software for quantity surveying and cost management.

Requirements:

Salary:
The estimated salary for this role is €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
