The candidate will be a team-player who is adaptable, responsive, and learning-minded in a fast-paced environment. They will be organised in their approach and competent in the use of technology to facilitate a collaborative and effective way of working. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Meet and greet of patients/ visitors. To deal with patient queries in relation to Radiotherapy services, treatment appointments, transport etc. Proficient use of the electronic medical record. Managing the patient appointment schedule efficiently and effectively. Be able to multitask in a busy role, working within a multi-disciplinary team. Have excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Be responsible for confidentiality of patient information at all times. Qualifications & Experience: Be able to work in a fast-paced customer-based environment Minimum 2 years previous relevant Administration experience in a busy office based role Have excellent Customer Care Skills in a patient focused environment Have excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner, and the ability to communicate effectively with all key stakeholders Have knowledge of all Microsoft packages and experience of a Hospital Administrative System is advantageous Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail Equal Opportunity Statement and Benefits UPMC is an equal opportunity employer.
