Perrigo also operates in 30+ other countries around the world including the United Kingdom, Belgium, France, China, India, and Australia, with the primary tax functions located in the Dublin and Grand Rapid offices.
Your Responsibilities
You will support the current team based in Dublin and Belgium, providing a varied range of corporate tax services to our largely European businesses. Reporting to the Associate Director of Tax, your role will focus on the following key activities:
1. Preparation of quarterly and year-end tax reporting under US GAAP
2. Assisting local controller teams with annual statutory tax reporting
3. Review of corporate tax returns for our European affiliates prepared by outside service providers/local controller teams
4. Preparation of corporate tax returns for our Irish affiliates
5. Identify, monitor, and analyse impact of tax legislation changes across Europe
6. Assisting local controller teams and tax team colleagues with tax audits in Europe, including liaising with local external tax advisers as required
7. Assisting with transfer pricing compliance and projects
8. Other projects as assigned
Experience Required
9. Typically a minimum of 5 years’ experience in tax in public accounting/practice and/or a publicly traded company
10. CTA qualified tax professional essential
11. Accountancy qualification preferred - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
12. Ability to communicate and interact effectively with a range of individuals at all levels internally as well as external
13. Enjoys and thrives working with and in a cross-functional team
14. Demonstrable experience of a couple of European tax regimes
15. Familiarity with US GAAP tax accounting principles is a plus
