Pediatrics - Pediatrician - Fort Stewart, Hinesville, GA (#25115)
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Pediatrician to fill an opening with a medical center located in Fort Stewart, Hinesville, Georgia.
Requirements of the Pediatrician:
1. Must have a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree
2. Must have Pediatrics Residency
3. Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics
4. Must have a current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine
5. Must have BLS | Pediatrics ACLS certification
6. Must have at least 12 months of experience within the last 36 months
Benefits of the Pediatrician:
1. The salary for this position is $93 | hr
2. Vacation, PTO, and Federal Holidays
Schedule of the Pediatrician:
1. This is for a Full-time position
2. Duty hours shall consist of an 8-hour shift between the hours of 0730 – 1630, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays and Training Holidays as identified by the MTF unless the provider is assigned to be On-call.
3. Shift shall include a non-paid lunch break of up to 60 minutes as scheduled by the department chief or designated representative.
4. Duty hours are subject to change in order to support extended clinic hours and may include weekends. Non on-call hours worked in excess of 40 hours in a Sunday – Saturday week must have been appropriately preapproved.
5. On-call will be scheduled by the Department/Clinic Chief or designated representative. On-call shifts are 12 to 24 hours (based on provider choice)
Responsibilities of the Pediatrician:
1. Diagnose and treat illnesses, medical conditions, and injuries.
2. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
3. Collect, record, and maintain patients' information and histories.
4. Prescribe and administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care.
5. Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients and family members.
6. Monitor patients' conditions and progress.
7. Direct, coordinate, consult with, and refer patients to nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff.
8. Advise patients, parents, and guardians on diets, activities, hygiene, and disease prevention.
9. Conduct research and remain up to date on current trends, discoveries, and developments in the field.
