Working in small teams, specialists provide the computing hardware, software, network resources and services that enable the firm to process over two million trades per day. Interns within Infrastructure will have a chance to work on platforms such as the Firm’s networks, operating systems mobile applications and other end-user applications.We are looking for interns in the following areas of Infrastructure Technology:Information Security - responsible for assessing and mitigating information security risks for the firm in line with business objectives. This includes designing and implementing security controls around networks, cloud, data, operating systems, third party vendors, and others for global deployment.Job ResponsibilitiesAutomate and script tasks and tools to be used by analysts and engineersDevelopment, and scripting skills required (Python, BASH scripting, Powershell, other) Support a team of specialists in delivering security technologies including: vulnerability scanning, password vault, intrusion detection and othersContribute to the Information Security Wiki in order to develop a platform for engineering and operations collaborationOrganize, visualize, and analyze infosec datasets to glean insights, spot trends and suggest process improvementsCollect and report on metrics to track progress/completion of tasksQualifications, Skills and RequirementsMinimum of 2:1 grade or higherStrong knowledge of TCP/IP and other infrastructure such as Firewalls, Proxies, DNS, Wi-Fi, and others.Technical Skills – Unix, AWS, Jenkins, Wireshark, Elastic/Kibana, Tableau/Grafana/PowerBIFamiliarity with hardening standards related to Network devices such as SANS, & CISCloud Platform - responsible for enabling the firm’s application developers, quantitative analysts, and data scientists, to take advantage of cloud native capabilities on public cloud platforms, which allows them to iterate quickly and build elastic systems, while ensuring security and resiliency.
