The role of Field Service Engineer – Valves:
* Reporting to the Operations Manager this position is responsible for the inspection, repair, and assembly of Process Control equipment.
* In-house service assembly/overhaul/test of our client’s product portfolio with focus on valve related items.
* The role will consist of a mix of work both in the workshop and on customer sites including overnight stays.
* Troubleshooting and repair of customer products and providing accurate repair reports.
* Operation of company related equipment such as Forklifts, Tools & Testing equipment.
* Responsibility for meeting related workshop schedules in coordination with company requirements.
* Ensure appropriate safety guidelines including the use of personal protective equipment are adhered to.
* Upkeep / maintenance of workshop – Including company Tools, Equipment & Assets.
* Adherence to companies ISO 9001:2015 Quality, and Health & Safety procedures.
The requirements for the Field Service Engineer – Valves:
* Self-starter with the ability to work on your own initiative and, also as part of a team.
* High level of knowledge/expertise of mechanical & electronic process control equipment.
* Technical problem solving & troubleshooting ability.
* A flexible and innovative approach to work.
* Excellent interpersonal / communication skills.
* The ability to work with people at all levels of the organization both internally and externally.
* The ability to write detailed reports such as site visits, repair reports.
* Ability to travel in Ireland with overnight stays on occasion.
* Mechanical engineering academic &/or trade qualification.
* Electrical/Electronic engineering experience &/or qualification would also be advantageous.
