About the Role
This leadership position is part of the finance function and reports directly to the Director of Finance and Financial Controller.
You will oversee financial reporting and statutory accounting across the Group, including month-end management accounts, year-end financial statements, annual regulatory and tax returns, and compliance for entities in the UK and Ireland.
In addition, you will be responsible for hands-on commercial accounting around project performance, budgeting, forecasting, WIPs, and variance analysis.
Requirements
* Fully qualified accountant with a recognised professional accounting accreditation (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA)
* At least 5 years post-qualified experience and exposure to the construction industry or similar industries
* Excellent financial reporting and technical accounting skills
* Strong commercial acumen and team leadership skills
