AboutXOCEAN XOCEAN is an ocean data company we collect data for clients ranging from mapping the seabed tomonitoringthe environment.
However, we do this differently, instead of using conventional crewed survey ships, we have developed a marine robotic system known as an UncrewedSurface Vessel (USV).
Overview The successful candidate will be involved in the continuous developmentand supportof XOCEANsITEnvironment.They will workwithall aspects ofIT,includingHardware,Software,and Cloud Services to provideafirst classend user experience.
Main Duties & Responsibilities Responsibilities will include: Assistwith day-to-day IT operations.
Provide IT support to all XOCEAN users and escalate issues when necessary.
Troubleshoothardware, software, and peripherals toidentifyissue root causes.
Document support activities, including resolutions, troubleshooting steps, andchange management requests.
Configure andmaintainPCs and IT Hardware onboardUSV's.
Assisting R&D Team with development items.
Prepare andmaintaindocumentation on all projects.
Requirements:Essential Skills / Attributesand Experience 2/3Years experience withMicrosoft 365 Platform.
Excellentknowledge of Windows 10/11 Operating Systems.
Strongunderstandingof Networks, Firewallsand VPNs.
General experiencewithIT Hardware/Software issues.
Ability to manage time independently, tasked with short term reactionary duties as well as long term strategic projects Proventrack recordof delivering tasks and projects through to completion.
Abilityto perform ina fast pacedrapidly growing organisation.
Desirable Experience Knowledge of Jira Service Management platform would be beneficial.
Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure Infrastructure.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, orworking to achieve are aplus.
