Context
At SYSTRA, we are looking to strengthen our team with an experienced Development Planner at Associate level. This role involves managing and delivering transport planning services for a wide range of developments across Ireland including key high profile infrastructure projects. Based in either our Dublin or Cork office, the successful candidate will also contribute to business growth by managing client relationships and participating in marketing and proposal activities.
Missions/Main Duties
* Management of a range of development planning projects with varying complexities
* Dealing directly with private and public sector clients on a day-to-day basis
* Preparing transport documentation for planning applications
* Financial management of projects, including monthly reviews, budgeting and invoicing
* Line management of junior members of staff including resourcing and undertaking performance reviews
* To help prepare and manage the delivery of tender proposals.
Profile/Skills
* Honours degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, or equivalent
* Experience of preparing Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, ES Transport Chapters, Construction Management Plans and Delivery and Servicing Plans
* Ideally Chartership of a professional institution (e.g. TPP, EI) or working towards
* Experience of traffic modelling is preferred (e.g. LinSig, PICADY, ARCADY and TRANSY)
* Experience of micro simulation modelling (e.g. VISSIM, PARAMICS) would be advantageous
* A strong communicator, both written and verbally with excellent team ethics
