Tax Director | Large Firm | North Co. Dublin
Our client
Our client is a large accountancy firm based in North County Dublin that has experienced significant growth over the past few years. As part of this ongoing expansion, they are seeking a Tax Senior Manager or Director to join their senior management team. Currently, the business has one Tax Director, but due to the volume of high-quality work, there is scope for further development.
The firm has a progressive senior management team that is committed to staying involved in the business for the foreseeable future. They believe remaining independent, with the support of a reputable international network, is the best path for both their clients and staff.
About the Role
To be successful in this position, you will be a qualified tax consultant, ideally with experience from a Top 25 or Big 4 firm. You should have solid knowledge across all primary tax heads. However, specialization in VAT or Transfer Pricing would be advantageous and equally valuable for this role. In addition to your technical expertise, you will need the ambition and drive to engage with clients regularly, identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery and contribute to the development of the tax practice.
Team and staff development are priorities for the firm, so this role requires being in the office four days a week. The firm operates slightly longer hours from Monday to Thursday, allowing for an early finish on Fridays. An excellent remuneration package is on offer for the right candidate, and there will be no delays in the recruitment process—this is an immediate requirement.
About You
* A qualified tax consultant (AITI or equivalent)
* At least seven years of experience in tax practice
* Strong commercial acumen, with a passion for client engagement and business development
* A natural mentor, who enjoys coaching and developing staff
