Description
Building trust and providing transparency - these are two key actions all organizations are focused on.
There are many reasons why organizations focus on building trust and transparency including:
1. Service providers: need to demonstrate to their customers that certain standards are being met when supplying their service.
2. Regulatory compliance: a company may need to demonstrate compliance with specific regulations in order to maintain their license.
3. Stakeholder pressure/strategic initiative: certain information is being demanded by stakeholders, especially in the area of sustainability.
Through a range of assurance reporting services—including SOC 1, ISAE 3402, SOC 2 and Agreed-Upon Procedures—the Trust and Transparency team within RAS can help clients report on their control environment and/or specific data points (eg carbon) objectively and accurately.
Reporting to the Partner leading T&T, the role involves completing business development and taking charge of a portfolio of clients from planning to completion. Key responsibilities include:
1. Identifying areas of growth related to T&T client offerings and completing business development.
2. Developing and maintaining personal networks within PwC and in the marketplace.
3. Managing a portfolio of T&T audits.
4. Supervising, coaching and leading teams.
5. Reviewing the work of less experienced team members.
6. Delivering within agreed timeframes and budgets.
Our T&T team members also work on advisory projects with clients, providing subject matter expertise in areas such as operations, process improvement and optimisation, governance structures, etc.
Essential Skills and Experience
1. The manager grade requires a minimum of five years relevant experience (can be a combination of audit and industry experience).
2. The successful candidates will be ACA qualified (or equivalent), demonstrate excellent communication skills (both written and oral), and have a genuine interest in providing high quality service to clients.
3. Financial Services experience (especially AWM) or technology or sustainability is an advantage, but not a requirement.
There are excellent career progression opportunities available to the right candidate!
