We are seeking a skilled and organized Legal Executive/Clerk to support the team, primarily in the areas of probate and conveyancing.
This role will involve assisting the solicitor with file progression, client interactions, and day-to-day administrative tasks in a professional and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive support to the solicitor in probate and conveyancing cases.
Manage and organize legal files under the supervision of a solicitor, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Coordinate with clients and professional contacts to ensure smooth communication and case progression.
Handle general secretarial duties, including document preparation, file management, and correspondence.
Requirements:
Qualification in legal secretarial work or legal executive studies, or relevant experience in a general law practice (preferred but not essential).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong IT skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a team-oriented mindset and capacity to work independently.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and a fast, accurate typing ability.
Strong motivation and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
