Engineering Leadership Role

Responsibilities:
* Lead a dedicated team of Engineers and Technicians in the Manufacturing Group.
* Ensure engineers are integrated into the overall production support team.
* Plan and implement training and development plans for subordinates.
* Coach and mentor team members.
* Set Engineering Goals and Objectives aligned with the Business plan.
* Identify and implement effective technical/system solutions to problems.
* Meet customer requirements and commit to excellence in performance and meeting deadlines.
* Promote compliance to systems and processes.
* Leverage a methodical Problem-Solving approach.
* Develop improvements to increase key process metrics using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
* Evaluate latest process technologies for competitive advantage and cost benefits.
* Manage New Part Introduction with the Prototyping/NPI Group.
* Oversee external relationships with key technology providers.
* Manage variable workloads to meet operational requirements.
* Fulfill Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
* Implement short and long-term cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.
* Drive Validation Activities.

Qualifications:
* Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering Degree (Level 8) or equivalent qualification.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with cross-functional experience.
* Post-qualification experience with people management and continuous improvement in manufacturing.
* Strong data analysis skills and problem-solving methodologies.
* People Management, Project Management, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma qualifications advantageous.
