Here in Haleon Dungarvan we are looking for a Product Owner, the purpose of this job is to lead Panadol Product Owner Technical activity at OTC Dungarvan and to
ensure all Processes are initially qualified and subsequently maintained in a qualified state as per the
Quality and Compliance standards required by Haleon/HPRA/FDA and other major regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Co-ordination and implementation of Panadol product validation schedules in accordance with the
2. QMS.
3. Support/Lead Technical Risk Assessment for Panadol products.
4. Perform TRA’s throughout the product lifecycle and ensure that knowledge within TRA’s is
5. retained in a locally controlled storage system
6. Develop key TRA documents including associated output reports.
7. Document the Product Control Strategy and ensure it is embedded in production floor.
8. Support the CPV process for Panadol Products.
9. Support development and approval of Panadol Product Control Strategy.
10. Implementation Process Change Control processes in accordance with the QMS
11. Co-ordinate & implement Data Trending process across all VS
12. Co-ordination of Periodic Process Reviews in accordance with the QMS
13. Development / maintenance of relevant Technical reporting systems & databases
14. Supporting Operational Excellence initiatives.
15. Drive Technical and continuous improvement initiatives across the OTC site and integrate
16. Technical standards into site business plans and activities.
17. Identify training needs of Technical Process Specialists supporting Panadol and ensure training plans are put in place to address these needs.
18. Ensure development plans are in place for key team members.
19. Review & Updating of Panadol Technical Process documentation in accordance with the QMS
20. Monitor and control Panadol Product Owner Technical expenditure to ensure the department remains within the agreed budget.
21. Manage the Technical Process Team and provide ongoing support to all the value streams in relation to manufacturing process issues
22. Co-ordination of the Process Prioritisation listing to ensure the most appropriate use of both
technical/ financial resource is being deployed.
23. Co-ordinate & implement process optimisation across all VS and in doing so minimize the site waste exposure and improve RFT on site.
24. Support site de-risking programme for the sourcing of alternative raw material suppliers as required.
25. Support the site monthly Technical Review meeting.
26. Co-ordinate the weekly Process Technical Team Meetings
27. Support the site Problem Solving Process.
28. Attendance at key site plant meetings
29. Support Cleaning validation specialist for maintaining the site validation status and compliance
30. with regulatory requirement
31. Support PLM Lead for managing the Product Lifecycle Management at Dungarvan
Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Responsibilities
32. Perform duties in a compliant manner and behave in accordance with Site SOP’s, EHS Standards and guidelines and relevant legal requirements.
33. Read and understand Standard Operations procedures applicable to Role.
34. Report all accidents, incidents and any EHS issues using the appropriate process/ System to your manager, or if required the Occupational Health Advisor.
35. Maintain work area in an inspection ready state and clean as you go to maintain good safe housekeeping standards,
36. Be aware of the impact of your job activities on EHS issues
37. Ensure all changes made have safety considerations and best practise as core attributes.

60. Bachelors / Honours degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline
61. 2- 5 years’ experience in Technical / Validation management capacity of product and their associated processes
62. Working Knowledge of Process Validation Requirements for new product introduction, new raw material introduction and process optimization changes HR Systems and People Management
