Digital Lab Records - South Ireland - 11-Month Contract
An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Digital Lab Records team member.
With ultra-modern manufacturing facilities, our client is one of the largest and most successful healthcare companies in the world specializing in the development, manufacture, and distribution of a broad range of innovative products designed to improve human health. The Analytical Development and Commercialisation (ADC) department is responsible for all analytical support to the site.
The position reports to the DLR Project Lead and offers the opportunity to work with a team of professionals responsible for the introduction of Digital Laboratory Records to our modern analytical laboratories using the most up-to-date technology and quality assurance procedures. The laboratory operates under Lean principles and employs a wide variety of analytical techniques.
What you will do:
1. Complete activities for the project plan for DLR implementation with agreed upon deliverables – such as LabX and Empower interface with GLIMS.
2. Review and approval of plan, protocols, and completion reports.
3. Work to standards for project deliverables.
4. Work in SAP updates for the Analytical department.
5. Update of site procedures and standards.
6. Liaising with vendors in relation to hardware and software.
7. Be part of a dynamic team responsible for DLR requirements across all laboratories.
What skills you will need:
1. A degree in Science (Chemistry, Physics, or related Life Science) and/or relevant experience.
2. Knowledge of GMP standards.
3. Knowledge of laboratory safety standards.
4. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. Strong documentation skills.
6. Motivated, focused, and technically strong.
7. Ability to maintain accurate records in compliance with GMP expectations.
8. Understanding and internalizing procedures relevant to GMP operations.
9. Team and interpersonal skills.
