Role Summary The Learning & Development (L&D) team forms part of the wider HR function which provides a full range of HR services to its c800 internal clients.
The Senior Learning & Development Manager plays a central role in the team and is responsible for design, development and delivery of a comprehensive range of innovative workshops and L&D programmes to support the business, underpin various OD initiatives, facilitate team workshops and ensure delivery of training in respect of business and technical skills, and foster a learning culture.
Principal Accountabilities
* Partner with the business to lead learning needs analysis, design and delivery of organisation-wide, team or individual learning & development initiatives that are aligned with business needs.
* Build and maintain strong relationships across the business to provide excellent L&D support and expertise.
* Manage third party training providers and evaluate their performance.
* Oversee and manage the budget for learning and development programs.
* Facilitate group/team development sessions and implement follow-up action plans.
* Design and deliver soft skills training as required.
* Ensure suitable evaluation measures are in place to track and evaluate the quality and impact of L&D initiatives.
* Develop and implement data-driven strategies to measure the effectiveness of learning and development programs.
Knowledge
* Honours degree in Business, HR, L&D or related discipline.
* Knowledge and proficiency in Business Unit consulting / partnering, needs analysis, and design and development of effective solutions.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other systems for virtual workshops and collaboration.
Experience
* Minimum of 8 years in L&D / workshop facilitation / training delivery.
* 6 years' experience in a L&D, internal consulting or business partnering role.
Skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
