Job Title:
Equipment Maintenance Technician
About the Role:
This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a career in the New Health Care Company.
The Impact You'll Make:
* Support production equipment in a medical device healthcare environment
* Repair and troubleshoot automated electro/mechanical equipment failures
* Schedule and perform preventative maintenance procedures through PEMAC
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance documentation
* Work proactively to ensure production performance targets are met
* Ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices & Good Documentation Practices are followed
* Support Engineering projects and lead actions assigned to maintenance group
* Focus on Continuous Improvement projects to drive improvements in OEE
Your Skills and Expertise:
* Cert./Diploma/Senior Trades in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
* 3-5 years experience in a similar technical role within the medical device or similar industry
* Mechanical experience within an automated manufacturing environment
* Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills and analytical methodologies
* Flexibility to work different Shift Patterns as the business requires
Additional Qualifications:
* Working knowledge of PLCs, motor drives, pneumatic and hydraulic components
* Demonstrate a high level of technical ability
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Strong Teamwork abilities – Foster a collaborative culture

Remuneration:
* Salary - €high-reaching dependent on skills and experience plus excellent benefits package
* Shift Allowance – 25% (12-hour x 3 cycle shift patterns 7am-7pm/7pm-7am)
