As an Associate BI Analyst/Developer, you will be responsible for collaborating with the business to gather and interpret reporting requirements and translate these requirements into data insights that the business can use to make more informed decisions.
This is a hybrid position based at our Limerick HQ.
Responsibilities
1. Work collaboratively with key business stakeholders to gather requirements.
2. Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights and build the necessary data reports.
3. Manage implementation of reporting enhancements and changes.
4. Develop and maintain documentation for all reports, explaining algorithms, parameters, models, and relations.
5. Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI.
6. Manage and enhance existing Power BI reports and dashboards on an ongoing basis.
7. Redefine and make technical/strategic changes to enhance existing Business Intelligence systems.
8. Create relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data models.
9. Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analytics.
Qualifications
* Strong academic background in Computer Science or Data - 3rd level minimum.
* Microsoft Power BI or similar experience.
* DAX.
* Power Query.
* Power BI Data Gateway.
* Data analysis.
* Visual Design, Data Storytelling.
* Strong knowledge of SQL Server, SQL Coding SSRS.
* Data warehouse development and work with SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS.
* Experience of R Python would be an advantage.
* Experience performing data analysis and report development.
* Data modelling and data performance tuning experience.
* Familiarity with Snowflake and Star schema would be beneficial.
