Nue Life is a leading provider of psychedelic-assisted therapies, committed to transforming mental health care. We are seeking a part-time (20 hours/week) Lead Therapist to provide strategic leadership and oversight to the Nue Life Therapy Program. The Nue Life Therapy Program provides psychotherapy services as adjunct to our at-home ketamine treatment program. Therapists provide preparation and integration psychotherapy for patients receiving ketamine treatment with Nue Life.
This is a remote, flexible position with a preference for East Coast-based candidates.
Job Summary:
The Lead Therapist is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations and providing leadership to our team of therapists. This role involves direct client care, supervision of clinical staff, and collaboration with administrative and medical teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Clinical Leadership:
o Provide supervision and guidance to a team of therapists.
o Mentor and support therapists in their professional development.
o Develop and implement therapeutic programs and interventions.
o Ensure compliance with ethical standards and best practices in ketamine-assisted therapy.
o Help build out the Therapy program including developing strategic goals, directives, and outcomes.
o Conduct regular team meetings
o Therapist Support: Respond promptly (within 24-48 hours) to therapist inquiries and maintain daily availability (9am - 5pm) for consultations with potential partners and Nue Life leadership.
* Patient Care:
o Conduct assessments and provide individual ketamine preparation and integration sessions.
o Develop and monitor treatment plans for clients.
o Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress.
* Program Management:
o Collaborate with administrative and operations staff to improve service delivery.
o Monitor program outcomes and client satisfaction.
o Assist in developing policies and procedures to enhance clinical services.
Community Engagement:
* Represent the organization in community meetings and events.
* Build and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications, Training, and Experience:
* Active and valid license in clinical psychology, social work, counseling or another clinical mental health field.
* Individual professional malpractice liability insurance
* Submission of a fully completed, signed CAQH application
* Individual NPI number
* Reliable Internet connection
* Significant experience in mental health care, including expertise in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP).
* Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, foster collaboration, and drive excellence.
* Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
* Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Research Experience: Experience conducting or participating in clinical research studies. Bonus: Research experience in psychedelic therapies.
* Bonus: Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of regulatory requirements related to psychedelic therapies.
