Contract type: Permanent
We are seeking qualified lawyers at all levels of post qualification experience and who have prior experience in financial services regulation in a recognised practice.
A snapshot of your peer group:
1. Qualified solicitor or barrister, admitted to practice law in Ireland, with experience in financial services regulation law.
2. Strong knowledge of Irish financial services legislation and regulatory frameworks.
3. Proven experience advising clients on compliance matters and regulatory issues.
4. Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic legal environment.
6. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional integrity.
Your responsibilities and achievements will evolve as you enhance your career with us. Here is what you can initially expect:
1. Advise and represent domestic and international credit institutions, investment firms, e-money and payment institutions and other entities impacted by financial services regulation on a wide range of financial regulatory issues, including authorisations, outsourcing, conduct of business and prudential roles, governance, acquisitions and disposals of qualifying holdings, fitness and probity and individual accountability.
2. Develop strategies and prepare legal documents to support clients in meeting regulatory obligations.
3. Conduct legal research on financial services regulations and analyse complex legal issues.
4. Work collaboratively with internal teams and clients to develop and implement compliance programs and strategies.
5. Take a proactive approach to professional development and staying informed about industry developments.
