Regional Sales Manager – Midlands/South East
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new sales from new and existing customers, as well as retaining the existing customer base of FMCG retail outlets and SMEs nationwide.
This role requires a pro-active and enthusiastic approach to making sales, with a focus on identifying new sales opportunities with SMEs and ensuring excellent service is delivered at all times.
The successful candidate will work independently to find and create leads, managing key relationships and working on various campaigns focused on new business acquisition and product roll-out.
Detailed Job Description:
* Set quarterly sales targets by the National Sales Manager, reviewed on an ongoing basis.
* Contact new customers nationwide to sell financial products from our catalogue.
* Sourcing sales leads through researching and contacting potential clients by phone, gaining referrals from the existing customer base.
* Growing sales of merchant services, other product lines, and new products as they become available.
* Maintain accurate records of daily sales and customer service calls.
* Produce accurate and timely reports to management on sales progress.
Key Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years proven sales experience.
* Experience in the payment services industry desirable.
* Technical selling skills and product knowledge required.
* Good knowledge of the financial services market advantageous.
* Familiarity with low margin high volume sales process into convenience retail market.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products.
* Self-motivated and pro-active.
* Relevant 3rd level qualification desirable.
