An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cardiac Physiologist to join the Bon Secours Health System Hospital Galway, Ireland’s Largest Private Healthcare provider.
Job Purpose:
To provide exceptional patient care, perform diagnostic non-invasive cardiology tests, and participate in invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures while maintaining confidentiality and a professional approach at all times.
Ideal Candidate:
* ASCT and MPPM or MSCT (or equivalent)
* 2 years post qualification experience
* Appropriate clinical skills
* Excellent interpersonal, accountability, and communication skills
* Flexible approach to work patterns
Essential Qualifications:
* BSc in Clinical Measurement from DIT or equivalent by the IICMP
* Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement from DIT or equivalent by the IICMP
* Possess an equivalent
Experience:
The Basic Grade Cardiac Physiologist will perform, conduct, and support the following range of cardiac investigations in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures:
* Resting 12 lead ECG, interpretation and analysis
* Fit and analysis of ambulatory ECG BP and event monitoring analysis
* Physiologist led Exercise stress testing, interpretation, and reporting (supervised by an ACLS certified practitioner)
* Echocardiography and reporting
* Assist in Transesophageal Echocardiography
* Haemodynamic monitoring and procedural documentation during invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures (supervised unless ACLS certified)
* Cardiac rhythm device management (from implant support to follow up and programming)
