About the Role
To provide a comprehensive support role to the Safety & Compliance Manager in all aspects of administration functions across Irish Brand Homes. To act as representative and point of contact in the absence of the S&C Manager.
You will be responsible for:
* Maintaining comprehensive Health & Safety Management System to ensure it is kept up to date.
* Keep records of incidents and maintain incident statistics for all dept.
* Assist with the co-ordination of investigations, and ensure all paperwork retained and filed within the H&S Management System.
* Uploading all relevant employee related incidents on to the Diageo Enablon system.
* Collating and inputting monthly Enablon metric requirements.
* Tracking lagging / leading safety metrics on the KPI dashboard. Creating quarterly H&S data reports.
* Filing, tracking & trending all corrective actions. Following up with all action owners to ensure actions are closed out within agreed timeframe.
* Collecting & filing toolbox talk attendance sheets.
* Supporting on internal comms – increasing staff awareness on H&S culture / sustainability yammer / posters.
* Attending and recording ‘Minutes’ of Compliance / Sustainability meetings.
* Document Control / Risk Assessment review project – formatting all documents, ensuring correct filing & storage of SOP training files, updating EQMS with all new procedures.
* Reviewing and tracking all hazards raised via Enablon Go.
* Maintaining and updating the IBH register of documents.
* Working closely with the L&D team in relation to all compliance related training.
* Assist in delivery of H&S induction for new starters when required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* High level of proficiency in Microsoft packages, including word, excel and outlook, and website updating.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* A self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative in a busy visitor attraction, working across multi-disciplinary team, and open to new challenges.
* Demonstrable high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Strong interpersonal skills with evidence of being an effective team member.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative and self-motivation.
* Excellent verbal and written English is essential.
* Highly motivated and able to demonstrate problem solving and decision-making abilities.
* Experience in the area of Environmental Health & Safety Desirable.
