We are presently recruiting for an experienced Accommodation Supervisor, for one of our clients, a well-established Business in Kenmare, Co. Kerry.
The Accommodation Supervisor will join a team of enthusiastic people dedicated to delivering an exceptionally high standard of service to our guests. The successful candidate will report to the accommodation manager.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Monitor standard of work within the Accommodation Department, ensuring the highest quality.
* Oversee and check bedrooms, cottages, villas, and public areas daily to ensure they are to the required AA 5 red star standard for our guests.
* Lead and direct the team of accommodation assistants and organise the team duties daily.
* Ensure all departmental checklists are completed and checked daily by the supervisor before going off duty.
* Participate in the training and coaching of all team members.
* Oversee the cleanliness of rooms division and all public areas in the hotel including villas and cottages.
* Liaise with the maintenance department to ensure that any issues are recorded and rectified in a timely manner.
* Ensure that all departmental standards are maintained in accordance with the SOP manual and grading criteria.
* Maintain the standard of personal hygiene and presentation in the department.
* Handle all guest queries promptly and efficiently.
* Use initiative in relation to the speedy resolution of guest queries or problems.
* Maintain good communication with the front office department as required.
* Demonstrate complaint and problem-solving abilities.
REQUIREMENTS
* 2+ years of proven experience in a supervisory role within an accommodation department.
* Proven strong organizational and leadership skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Valid, clean EU driving license.
PACKAGE ON OFFER
* A competitive rate of €14+ per hour (Paid overtime & Sunday Premium).
