Role Overview
Hotel Talent is excited to announce that we are currently recruiting for a Director of Food & Beverage. We are looking for a passionate manager that has excellent attention to detail, is standard driven, has an excellent food & beverage knowledge and can manage all financial aspects of the property. The ideal candidate needs to have excellent team management skills and come with a 4* or 5* background, with a passion for delivering a world-class guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead all facets of the Food & Beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service, ensuring excellence in service.
* Be commercially aware and focused on revenue generation and cost control across the hotel.
* Work closely with the Executive Chef and F&B Leadership team on the overall strategy of the department.
* Collaborate with senior management to set financial objectives and KPIs, ensuring the F&B department contributes to the hotel's profitability.
* Foster a culture and environment of continuous learning and development within the team.
* Work closely with Human Resources to attract, hire and retain the right talent.
* Develop close relationships with suppliers to enhance the local F&B offering.
* Inspire the F&B team to deliver high standards.
* Utilize technology and systems to the department's advantage.
* Lead the development of new concepts, menus, and curate a dining experience to enhance guest satisfaction and attract new business.
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous senior experience as an F&B Director or F&B Manager, in a 5* or luxury 4* property.
* Excellent organisational skills, strong leadership, and people management skills.
* Strong understanding of operational controls, budgeting, payroll, and forecasting.
* Knowledge of the Irish hotel industry.
* High knowledge of food and beverage trends, hotel operations, and high standards of service.
* In-depth understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Ability to create innovative marketing strategies to boost F&B revenue and guest satisfaction.
* Proficiency in F&B management software and POS systems.
