Emergent is looking to recruit a highly motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team.
The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues located in Ireland and in the U.S. and will have a broad range of responsibilities.
Experience in preparation of items for month-end procedures is key and proficiency in the use of SAP is preferred.
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Enter and apply cash receipts for the US and CanadaEnsure customer deductions are posted correctly to each customer accountInvestigate and resolve unknown deductionsIssue consolidated invoices on a monthly basisPrepare month-end AR reconciliationWork closely with the sales and operations teams to resolve client billing queriesMonitor and follow up on outstanding balances to ensure timely collection of paymentsAssist with, or assume responsibility for, other duties and ad hoc projects as assignedThe above statements are intended to describe the nature of work performed by those in this job and are not an exhaustive list of all duties.
