ESG Coordinator
What is involved:
1. Progress and maintain the overall sustainability strategy developed in line with the overall Group Strategy.
2. Assist with the implementation of key sustainability projects, including HPI / EU Taxonomy / BREEAM / LEED assessments on projects.
3. Compile and analyse data related to sustainability activities, preparing regular reports for internal and external stakeholders to showcase the organisation's social and environmental impact.
4. Prepare the necessary reports required in terms of ESG formal reporting requirements.
5. Communicate changes in regulatory and customer requirements within the business.
6. Collaborate with various departments to integrate ESG initiatives.
7. Work cross functionally to ensure our products and services are aligned and integrated with our business strategy and our long-term targets and objectives.
8. Attend Sustainability Working Group meetings and help to coordinate through meeting organisation, action tracking and follow-up.
9. Manage relationships with external agencies and stakeholders.
10. Help to manage the allocation of resources in accordance with our ESG budget.
11. Oversee the document control process for the ESG team, ensuring all documentation is organised, recorded, and managed in accordance with project and company policies.
12. Work closely with stakeholders in the business to track all relevant KPI results while updating logs & formal documentation as required.
13. Develop core sustainability awareness messages.
14. Work with the marketing and communications teams to effectively communicate sustainability achievements, reinforcing the organisation's positive image and reputation.
15. Maintain and contribute to the internal and external Sustainability content across the intranet, website and various communications channels.
16. Process multiple work streams & workflows of documents daily.
17. Research and recommend innovative technologies, strategies and initiatives that contribute to sustainable practices, keeping the organisation at the forefront of ESG stewardship.
Part of this role will include - BIM (Building Information Modelling) Administrator/Coordinator
18. Responsible for digital processes associated with the design and construction stages of a project.
19. Ensure models, drawings and structural data are hosted in one, accessible place and deliver accurate project information to key stakeholders.
20. Coordinate with IT Manager to assist with the implementation of BIM best practices.
21. Ensure all electronic & hard copy filing is accurate & easily retrievable.
22. Upload/download drawings & documents to BIM system ensuring careful version control.
23. Provide general administrative support to the team on site using BIM & liaising with managers & construction staff daily.
Key Experience and Skills:
24. A relevant degree, or equivalent, in Sustainability to ensure a good knowledge of Sustainability, ESG and CSR topics
25. Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in ESG/Sustainability
26. Strong experience in administration
27. Excellent organisational and administrative skills with experience in co-ordinating projects
28. The ability to multitask, prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
29. Demonstrable experience of flexibility and adaptability
30. The ability to supervise projects and work effectively as part of a wider team with the capacity to identify key issues and propose solutions in a timely manner.
31. Excellent IT skills with an ability to collate and analyse data utilising IT systems and build suitable reports for the results
32. Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills
33. Being flexible and adapting to changes throughout the project is essential in ensuring that our goals are met.
