The Processing Technician is responsible for understanding and performing all daily duties in the Processing department as well as functioning as a direct assistant to the Post Processing Supervisor. The Processing Technician plays a critical role in cannabis cultivation, focused on processing deleafed and bucked flower and trim with a focus on safety, compliance, quality, and efficiency. This is a physical position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently and with a small team.

Successful team members demonstrate a high level of professionalism, work cooperatively and collaboratively with other departments, and assume accountability for compliance, performance, and overall behavior. This position reports to a Post Processing Supervisor.
Job Responsibilities:
* Prioritize Safety, Quality, and Regulatory Compliance
* Comply with all HR policies and employee handbook including punctuality, confidentiality, leave procedures and treating others with dignity and respect
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
* Help in other departments as needed.
* All other duties associated with an agricultural operation as required
Job Duties:
* Adhere to Production Department’s standard operating procedures and safety protocols
* Work independently and as part of a small team to achieve daily and long-term goals
* Move processed product through the entire dry/cure process as directed by Post Processing Supervisor including, but not limited to, trimming flower in dry trimmer, filling barrels, sorting flower, moving barrels and racks, weighing, labeling, waste disposal, and inventory management.
* Vacuum sealing bags of bulk flower
* Assist with internal tracking of finished product and detail-oriented labeling
* Clean entire work area at end of each working shift
* Facilitate department processes in the absence of your supervisor
* Adhere to, understand, and train Post-Processing standard operating procedures
* Demonstrate job completion for all tasks performed
* Possess a high level of organization and attention to detail
* Maintain all equipment in a manner resulting in regular preventative maintenance.
* Concise, respectful, professional, and accurate communicator
* Assist other departments as necessary
* Other duties as necessary
Job Qualifications:
* Reliable transportation
* Physical ability to lift 30-50 pounds
* Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
* Basic computer and technology literacy including email communications and HR software utilization
