Overview

As a Lead Mechanical Engineer (Building Services), you will have the opportunity to take on a senior role in our engineering design team.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience leading large projects (TIC > €200MM) from concept to completion and will be responsible for technical leadership of the Building Services engineering design team.
* Develop innovative design solutions for new projects.
* Interface with client design teams/end users.
* Lead technical and safety reviews.
* Design building services engineering designs, including preparation of AFDs, P&IDs, and equipment sizing calculations.
Additionally, the successful candidate will oversee:
* HVAC system BIM modelling progress by your team.
* Planning resources, measuring and reporting of progress of resources against agreed deliverables.
* Estimating resource requirements for projects through the life cycle.
The role also involves managing people in the execution of the project life cycle and ensuring delivery of agreed design scope within budget hours and schedule.
Qualifications include a Degree in Building services or Mechanical Engineering (Level 8) and significant design experience in the pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical or Chemical industry.
Previous experience as a team leader is essential, as well as strong design experience of Utilities, including Steam, LPHW, CHW.
