CORPORATE SERVICES OFFICER
This role is part of the Administration Unit within the Corporate Services Division (CSD) of the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC).
The CCPC enforces competition and consumer protection law in Ireland, ensuring markets work better for consumers.
As a Clerical Officer, you will provide administrative support to enable the effective performance of critical functions of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform general administrative duties while delivering administrative support services to the Commission and wider CCPC.
2. Manage daily facilities-related matters, including inventory of office materials and catering items, and internal and external post.
3. Manage multiple mailboxes, ensuring correspondence is addressed accurately, timely, and professionally.
4. Update the CCPC Intranet on Corporate Services work.
5. Provide general clerical support, including filing, photocopying, binding, formatting reports, answering/making calls, monitoring mailboxes, and dealing with emails.
6. Schedule and organise meetings and events.
7. Provide library services, ordering books, managing subscriptions, and maintaining the library facility.
8. Work with the Corporate Services Manager on health & safety matters and energy management initiatives.
9. Assist with procurement of goods/services, requesting quotes, conducting research, inputting to Requests for Tender (RFT), as appropriate.
10. Raise purchase orders and liaise with the Finance team and external providers in a professional manner.
11. Contribute to strategic goals by participating in cross-divisional projects in evolving areas, as agreed with management.
12. Undertake other duties and responsibilities of a similar level within the CCPC and participate in relevant cross-divisional projects when required.
