* Location: Kildare, County Kildare, Ireland
As a Procurement Coordinator, you will support the Procurement organization whose reach goes across several functional areas including Strategy, Productivity, Sales & Operations Planning, Transportation, Warehousing, Finance, Operations, and Quality and Environmental Services. This position will work with the Business on the execution and planning of key projects and initiatives to deliver significant value to KDP Ireland. Relevant topic areas may include long-term strategy, productivity, network optimization, service improvement, and operational excellence.
In the role of the Procurement Coordinator, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Gather market intelligence and prepare reports under the guidance of the category manager.
2. Preparing and executing negotiation events, RFPs, RFIs & E Auctions- seeking best TCO contracts with suppliers as approved by category managers.
3. Onboarding of new suppliers which includes but is not limited to documentation gathering & system setup coordination.
4. Support the team on execution of productivity projects which includes but is not limited to setting up saving trackers, volume gathering & monthly reporting.
5. Contract lifecycle management for the assigned category/project.
6. Develop standard ways of working across categories for all the above activities.
Requirements
In order to be successful in the role of Procurement Coordinator, you will have:
1. Bachelor’s degree qualification in Business, Supply Chain Management, or other related fields.
2. Minimum 1 year experience working in procurement or supply chain management role OR a Masters in a related sector.
3. Experience working in an FMCG or Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing sector is desirable.
4. Strong analytical skills to analyze business data and make informed decisions.
5. Strong Negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across a complex organization.
6. Strong IT Experience using PowerPoint & Excel; Exposure to SAP or any other ERP would be desirable.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the flexibility to work on cross-functional projects.
