TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESProcess orders in an accurate and timely mannerEnsure accurate pricing when placing ordersLiaise with warehouse, finance and CSR’s to resolve all queriesMaintain accurate ETA’s for all backorders, be proactive and chaseCreation of new product codes on the ERP system with accurate attributesMaintain accurate pricing on existing products on the ERP SystemManage imports and exports while also tracking collections to deliveryAssist with companies sustainability process for the purchasing departmentRequest pricing from suppliers where necessaryBuild and maintain excellent supplier relationshipsChase short and late shipmentsWork with finance to have all proforma payments paidCover for other purchasing departments within the group where necessaryWork closely with CSR on incoming and outgoing calibrationsManage calibration SpreadsheetMonthly review with finance of any pricing discrepanciesLiaise with service suppliers on orders & pricing to ensure accurate billingOther adhoc duties thatSKILLS AND EXPERIENCEMinimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, industry experience a distinct advantage3rd level qualification in supply chain or procurement is preferableExperience using ERP systemsTechnically competent with an ability to understand customer needs.Excellent numeric and data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracyTeam worker with strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels in and outside the companyAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clientsAbility to multi-task, skill in establishing priorities and managing workloadsAbility to be flexible and to adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations or individualsProfessional who is experienced and dependable with discretion, enthusiasm and a positive attitudeExcellent computer skills including proficiency in use of Microsoft Office COMPETENCIES AND BEHAVIOURS REQUIREDCommunicationsAbility to MultitaskIntegrityRespectLearning mindsetEnthusiasm The hours of work for this role are 8am-5pm Monday-Thursday and 8.30am - 2pm on Fridays.
