Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Monaghan Town (This role is full time on site)
Salary: 30-33K
Recruitment Plus, on behalf of our client, is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant, assisting the Financial Accountant in Co. Monaghan. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accounts and reports are prepared to a high standard of accuracy and to appropriate deadlines.
Responsibilities:
* Obtain and process orders, ensuring all orders are placed with production and invoice same.
* Processing delivery dockets, purchase invoices and payment of all creditors.
* Processing sales orders, sales invoices and payment of all debtors.
* Cash Book maintenance and processing.
* Prepare monthly management accounts.
* Maintenance of month end accruals for outstanding invoices.
* Assisting with Balance Sheet Reconciliations in accordance with divisional policy.
* Ad hoc reporting as requested by management.
* Payroll knowledge is an advantage.
Requirements:
* At least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
* Experience in Sage is advantageous.
* Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
* Experience with control accounts, VAT, and bank reconciliations.
* Strong communicator and interpersonal skills; the ability to work under pressure.
* Ability to work on one’s own initiative as well as being a good team player.
* Strong Excel skills and proficient in other MS Office applications.
