Working with a collaborative and motivated warehouse team, this role plays a vital part in ensuring inventory accuracy and the smooth operation of the goods-in department.
You will be required to handle goods in tasks such as operating the counterbalance, manage SAP data entries, and support other various operational activities.
As this role expands you will be involved in the day-to-day activities which will involve the hands-on tasks as well as being flexible and adaptable to manage the technical aspects of the role.
Responsibilities: Perform goods-in activities, ensuring accurate unloading, checking, and storing of incoming goods.
Accurately record and process received goods onto SAP system.
Maintain inventory accuracy using SAP and other transactions required.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve discrepancies.
Conduct regular inventory control tasks such as stock takes and cycle counts.
Ensure compliance with the companys health and safety policies and procedures.
Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed.
Handle daily administrative tasks, such as updating records, generating reports, and providing status updates on inventory levels.
Requirements: Manual Handling Certificate.
Counterbalance License Mandatory.
Minimum of 2 years' experience with SAP highly advantageous.
Proficient computer literacy skills, including MS Office (Outlook and Excel).
Proven experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in a goods-in role.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Proven ability to multitask and work comfortably under pressure.
Excellent Communication Skills Written and Verbal.
