Circa €60k base salary plus Bonus, Company Vehicle and additional benefits
Summary of Position
Reporting to the Director of HSEQ, the Health & Safety Lead is responsible for the monitoring and enforcement of the Company's Health and Safety standards and procedures within various premises operated by the Company. The Health & Safety Lead will also be responsible for providing health and safety related training.
Requirements
- A Degree in a related EHS field, or working towards
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a H&S role, preferably within heavy industry (Port Operations, O&G, Shipping, Transport/Logistics or Construction)
Responsibilities / Principal Duties
- Monitor and ensure both employees and third-party compliance with the Company health and safety standards and procedures within premises operated by the Company.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to workplace transport and traffic management procedures.
- Document and report infringements of Company's health and safety standards and procedures.
- Promote hazard identification and provide guidance for corrective actions.
- Perform and document workplace safety inspections and audits.
- Deliver health and safety related training with employees and third parties as required.
- Deliver induction training to new starters.
- Advise and Coach employees and third parties on best safe practices.
- Attend prestart and toolbox meetings.
- Assist in the development of Risk Assessments and JSA's
- Assist with Incident investigations.
- Any other duties the management may from time to time deem necessary and reasonably require.
