Job Title: Person in Charge
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Person in Charge. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with HIQA regulations and HSE policies.
About the Role:
* Lead shifts and provide direct care to individuals with autism.
* Develop and implement individual care plans, ensuring adherence to HIQA and HSE standards.
* Conduct audits, maintain documentation, and support new team members through training programs.
* Foster a collaborative work environment and provide on-call support when required.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in training and orienting new care team members.
* Organise and facilitate training programs and workshops for the team.
* Implement appropriate care interventions and monitor progress and outcomes of care.
* Ensure completion of required documentation by team members in a timely manner.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years experience in a management/supervisory role in health or social care.
* Level 7 degree in Applied Social Studies (or relevant qualification) and Level 6 Management qualification.
* Strong understanding of HIQA and HSE standards.
* Excellent IT, report writing, people management, and rostering experience.
* Full clean driving license and access to a vehicle.
