General Practitioner (IRELAND) (Kilkenny/Waterford Area) - Are you a General Practitioner on the Specialist division of the Irish Medical Council interested in taking on a GMS list?
To be part of a team providing a calm and supportive environment, ensuring an excellent work-life balance for their team. The practice features several practice nurses and a full administrative team to support our GPs.
We are looking for a GP for 8 sessions per week, with a requirement to work a full day on Fridays. The successful candidate will provide high-quality face-to-face consultations, managing up to 13 patients per session with dedicated time for paperwork.
Required Qualifications
1. MICGP (Member of the Irish College of General Practitioners) or MRCGP (Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners) qualification.
2. Proven experience as a GP, with the ability to provide high-quality patient care.
3. Eligibility to work in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct face-to-face consultations, seeing a maximum of 13 patients per session.
2. Allocate time for administrative tasks, with 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm protected for paperwork.
3. Perform approximately one home visit per week.
4. Collaborate with practice nurses and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
5. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
6. Participate in formal weekly practice meetings.
Additional Information
The practice operates on a GMS (General Medical Services) contract. We serve approximately 6,000 patients. We use Socrates software for patient management. Indemnity is provided. We can assist with pension arrangements for GPs. 4 weeks pro-rata annual leave.
