This pivotal leadership position will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the Operational Excellence and Site Performance Program, advancing digital transformation initiatives, and supporting the formulation and achievement of site strategy and objectives.The Dublin manufacturing site won the Gold Shingo Prize in August 2024, marking Ipsen's second win after Signes in 2020. This position involves working closely with the Site Leadership Team and collaborating with Operational Excellence champions The role requires someone who is not only theoretical but also practical, capable of leading workshops on mindset and behavior.Key responsibilities include:Developing and implementing the operational excellence strategy in alignment with business objectives and site goalsLeading continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologiesEstablishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive accountabilityMentoring and developing a high-performing team of continuous improvement professionalsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvement opportunitiesDriving change management efforts to ensure successful adoption and sustainability of improvement initiativesPromoting digital transformation and supporting the Digital and Data Team (DDAT) in defining strategy and prioritizing initiativesTo be considered for this role you will have a degree or MSc in Science, Engineering, Operational Excellence, or a related discipline. Experience managing large teams in a GMP regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, and proficiency in Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques.
