FPGA Engineer - ASIC / Electronic Circuit & System Design / Space
We are partnered with a leading high-tech company specializing in developing and manufacturing Inertial Sensors with applications across multiple industries including Space and Aerospace. They are looking to expand their team in Ireland with an FPGA Engineer.
This is a permanent opportunity based in Dublin, Ireland.
Key responsibilities for this FPGA Engineer position:
* Actively contribute to the design and specification of FPGA blocks.
* The creation of design documentation for FPGA including requirements, specifications, design descriptions, and test specifications.
* FPGA Lab-based verification, system integration and test work.
* Supporting existing design verification/board test verification activities.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team on topics including system architecture, system design, schematic design, and PCB layout support.
Key Requirements:
* Extensive knowledge of full FPGA design flow; including verification, synthesis, place & route, timing closure, and power estimation.
* Knowledgeable of memory technology, communication interfaces, and interface protocols.
* Previous lab experience; including usage of Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, and Signal Analyzers.
* Previous experience with electronics circuit & System Design across Analog, Digital, and Power.
* Knowledgeable of embedded systems and process architectures.
* Experienced working with tools including SVN & Git.
