Outline of the role
Join our team as a Design Co-ordinator at a leading Civils Construction Company, where you'll play a vital role in the successful delivery of our innovative projects. We are seeking a motivated individual with a solid background in utilities and a passion for excellence.
As a Design Coordinator you will be responsible for
* Collaborate with Project Teams: Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure design specifications meet project requirements and standards.
* Design Management: Coordinate design activities and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and client specifications.
* Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits throughout our region to monitor progress and address design-related issues.
Required Skills and Experience
* Educated to degree standard in Civil Engineering or equivalent
* You should have demonstrable (3 - 5 years) of experience of being part of a large-scale infrastructure programmes of work ideally within the water sector.
* Ability to plan ahead and effectively delegate tasks to the engineering team.
* An appropriate and valid CSCS / CSR card
* Sound knowledge of latest building regulations, legislation and Health and Safety
* Working knowledge in Microsoft Office packages
* Full Manual UK driving license essential
* Good communication skills (verbal and written) and able to engage with all stakeholders at all levels
* Excellent attention to detail and meticulous planning and organizational skills
* Desirable Water Experience: Previous experience with water-related projects is highly desirable.
* Location: This role is based in Monaghan, with travel required for site visits throughout our region.
