Project Engineer Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team and implement an effective manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Introduce and validate new equipment, ensuring optimal manufacturing practices.
* Work with Value Streams to identify opportunities for equipment improvement, including automation, vision systems, and robotics.
* Collaborate with Product Development to establish equipment requirements for new products.
* Engage with external vendors to review equipment proposals, select vendors, and obtain capital approval.
* Resolve production/engineering issues with cross-functional teams.
* Validate new equipment, incorporating maintenance and calibration requirements into specifications.
* Transfer and validate equipment from other sites.
* Debug production issues with automated equipment.
* Maintain relevant documentation, adhering to Quality and Regulatory guidelines, and ensure GMP and E&AS compliance.
Required Skills and Attributes:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
* 2-4 years of experience in a similar role within a GMP-regulated environment.
* Prior experience working in Medical Devices is advantageous.
* Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
* Proven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
* Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
Additional Details:
This is a Cork-based role, requiring on-site presence 5 days a week. Experience in Medical Devices is preferred but not required.
