Are you our next Data Analyst - Reporting Specialist?
Location: Dublin, as part of our hybrid working model.

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst - Reporting Specialist to join our Finance Projects Team.
The Finance Projects Team is part of KPMG's internal finance department, please note that this is an in-house role and is not an external client facing role.
A snapshot of your peer group:
1. Minimum 1-2 years of successful experience as Data Analyst - Reporting Specialist or similar in businesses of sufficient scale and complexity.
2. Diploma in Data Analytics or similar
3. Strong understanding of data principles and data security.
4. Experience working in a reporting environment, developing and implementing business focused data insights and analytics solutions, translating the requirements of business into fit for purpose solutions.
5. Experience of working with and curating large amounts of data from multiple sources including structured / unstructured data; legacy systems etc.
6. Understanding how to present insights from data with a coherent narrative - able to explain complex ideas in a simple and straightforward manner.
7. Ability to influence others and work across functional teams to deliver transformational analytics projects
8. Ability to be flexible in meeting changing priorities
9. Ability to work as a team player and excellent communication skills
10. Ability to take direction and then work on own initiative
11. Successful experience in driving performance improvement initiatives
12. Previous ERP, Business Warehouse and ETL application experience desirable

13. Partnering with functional finance teams to understand their data needs and help develop reusable solutions
14. Specify and document requirements for new, and changes to existing analytics queries
15. Develop simple queries using SAP BW
16. Extract and Transform data for ad-hoc requests
17. Work as part of a project team to integrate data flows from satellite systems
18. Validation testing on various in-train projects as well as post-upgrade system testing
19. Data cleansing and query ecosystem review
