Overview
The Grade VIII Management Accountant will support the General Manager Finance and the Regional Director of Finance to ensure that the members of the Integrated Health Area management team and other budget holders have timely access to all financial and related information, including analysis and commentary required to meet their obligations and responsibilities. The role will ensure the highest standards of financial reporting and support in compliance with best practice in terms of financial processes, procedures and controls.
Essential Criteria
Candidates must have at the latest date of application: Current membership of a recognised or prescribed accountancy body such as ACCA, CPA, ACMA, CIMA, ACA or an equivalent accountancy body in another jurisdictionRelevant senior post-qualification experience in a large complex organisation with multiple stakeholders to include a proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders to ensure financial consequences are taken into account.Significant experience of forecasting, budgeting, preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysisSignificant experience of preparation, reporting, analysing and manipulating large volumes of financial data and producing reportsPossess the requisite knowledge and ability, (including a high standard of suitability and management ability), for the proper discharge of the duties of the officeRelevant AttachmentHSE Job Spec Grade VIII Management Accountant
