Job Title: Human Resources Officer
Location: Nazareth Care Ireland, Regional Office, Clontarf Road, Dublin
Reports to: Group Human Resources Manager
Purpose of the job: As a strategic partner to assigned services you will align HR initiatives with organisational goals, fostering a positive and productive work environment. You will play a key role in all aspects of HR.
Main responsibilities:
* Support with organisational design and change management initiatives including supporting Directors of Nursing with new service development initiatives, ensuring HR policies and practices are aligned with evolving service offerings.
* Collaborate with assigned stakeholders to understand their needs and provide expert HR guidance.
* Build on and maintain relationships with our union representatives, support negotiations, and advise on aspects of employee relations within a unionised environment.
* Provide ongoing support and guidance to Directors of Nursing, management and employees on a wide range of ER issues, promoting a positive and engaged work environment.
* Support recruitment strategies, the recruitment cycle, and the implementation of effective onboarding programs.
* Drive our performance management processes, identify training needs, and facilitate team building and leadership development.
* Develop and implement absence management policies, monitor trends, and support employee wellbeing.
* Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to your direct report(s) and managers.
Qualifications and Skills:
* A primary degree in HR. CIPD Membership is an advantage.
* 3 to 5+ years of HR experience, including experience in a unionised environment.
* Evidence of ongoing CPD.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Analytical and problem-solving expertise.
* Change management experience.
* Familiarity with regulations in healthcare is an advantage.
Attributes:
* Experience with HR and Office Systems, Softworks, Office and AI are an advantage.
* Deep understanding of Irish healthcare industry trends.
* Organised with excellent attention to detail.
* A self-starter, self-motivated and very innovative.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and can build effective professional relationships.
* Capable of prioritising and managing multiple projects at one time.
* Full, clean driving licence as travel is required to each of our nursing homes.
