Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Bid Manager to join our clients team and oversee the bidding process for residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the residential construction industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
* Analyse project requirements and develop comprehensive bid proposals.
* Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for bids.
* Review bid documents and ensure compliance with project specifications.
* Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and quotes.
* Prepare and submit bids within specified deadlines.
* Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients and vendors.
* Track and manage bid documentation and correspondence.
* Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
* Proven experience as a Bid Manager in the residential construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of construction bidding processes and practices.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and bid management software.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
