Role Summary
This role will provide exposure to a wide range of expertise relating to pharmaceutical, life sciences, construction, and other sectors. The successful candidate will be supported in developing their knowledge and skills as their responsibilities grow and evolve.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support tendering with technical input on equipment.
* Support procurement of high-value equipment.
* Support electrical design process for Renewable Energy Infrastructure Projects.
* Support Project Manager on project progress, risks, and issues associated with design.
* Analyse supplier information for alignment with design specifications.
* Review and understand schematics, GA plans and project specifications.
* Conduct design reviews, validate equipment and systems.
* Support engineers with technical submittals, RFIs, equipment registers, and trackers.
* Analyse all design documentation and identify any scope gaps.
* Review quality on site – walking down systems to ensure compliance with the project team.
* Assist with development of design and commissioning departments.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in Electrical design required.
* 1-2 years' experience in a similar role is desired.
* Experience in T&D and/or Renewables necessary.
* Knowledge of the Irish market and interfacing with TSO/DSO is an advantage.
* Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office systems required.
* Demonstrated appetite for continuous learning and personal development.
