The purpose of the role is to analyse, control and report activities related to the Operational Flight Plan and Air Traffic Service Flight Plan in accordance with the rules implemented by aviation regulatory authorities and company procedures.
Ensure the most reliable, safe and efficient airline operations.
Key Accountabilities: Prepare Operational Flight Plans for all sectors and ensure compliant routes are filed, whilst monitoring current Weather and Notam information that may affect the operation.Work closely with the LMC so that OFPs can be adjusted to compensate for any aircraft defects that may have a penalty on the operation.Produce all documentation required by flight crew including Met Reports and Forecasts, Notams and OFP's.Promote and implement the company SMS to ensure that the prevention of accidents is a priority.Keep a flight watch on the Company aircraft and any other flights for which the company has a responsibility.Keep the OCC Manager and Crew appraised of any foreseeable disruption to the programme whilst using the most efficient and economically viable option.Ensure all adhoc aircraft charters and positioning flights have been allocated with the required OFP resources.
Prepare a recap of the Nights Operation.Maintain competence on the basis of continued education and training in their area of responsibility.
