Job Summary
This role is responsible for providing regular, relevant, and insightful reporting and analysis to the cross-functional site team. The goal is to enable improved decision-making and support the financial management of key areas within the business.

Key Responsibilities:
Relationship Development
Build positive relationships with other departments to assist in delivering accurate information and results to the business.
Maintain strong relationships with department managers through two-way communication and provide accurate information to support efficient running and continuous improvement of the site.
Provide proactive financial support to nominated departments as specified by site management.
Promote a harmonious working environment based on the company's Vision and Values and address individual or group behavior that may be detrimental to positive working relationships.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with all functions, including Health and Safety, Production, Food Safety & Quality, Technical Services, Planning, Finance, and HR.
Financial Effectiveness
Preparation and analysis of the weekly KPI report for submission to the Site Management Team for review.
Consolidate weekly production data into the Yield & Efficiency report for distribution to the Manufacturing Manager and Operations Director.
Analyze production waste and prepare a report for distribution to the Site Management Team.
Prepare and post month-end adjustments, such as prepayments and accruals, and support the Management Accountant in completing the monthly reporting cycle.
Support the effective control of inventory by assisting the Stores team in completing weekly stock counts and providing stock listings from SAP.
Reconcile 3rd party stock counts to SAP.
Provide cost centre reporting and support the Management Accountant in reviewing monthly actual versus budget variances and forecasting with individual cost centre managers.
Support the Site Leadership Team with the preparation and interpretation of financial and non-financial data as required.
Represent the Finance team in daily site meetings and ensure the financial implications of any past or future activities are discussed.
Provide ad hoc cover support for other Finance Team members as needed.
Responsible Care
Drive and support a positive Health and Safety culture within the department where H&S is given equal priority with all other activities.
Maintain focus on workplace safety and ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
Ensure accidents or incidents are recorded in detail, reported via specified methods, and supporting documentation is completed promptly and passed to the department manager.
Immediately escalate any accidents to the Financial Controller.
Promote the culture of Stop, Think, Act within the department and observe, act on, and immediately report any issues that may pose a threat to a safe working environment.
Ensure all Personal Protective clothing and equipment is worn in accordance with company policy.
Ensure understanding of the site Environmental Targets and objectives and how the department can influence these in a positive manner.
